Leasing

Sunset Shores may be offering a limited number of seasonal leased RV lots in 2021 for $5200 / year including utilities and winter storage (with deposited renewal). The choice is yours to lease or to purchase and a lease will give you the benefit of trying us out before you own. However, there are some drawbacks of leasing:

leased lots remain for sale

Since our priority is to sell our properties, leased lots remain for sale and the leaser may be asked to move sites.

higher purchase price

Delaying a purchase by a year will likely cause a higher purchase price of a lot the following year as prices increase.

More Expensive

Leasing a lot is more expensive on a year-by-year basis and there is no control on potential lease increases.

Carots don't taste as fresh

When you lease a property the carrots in your garden won't taste as good compared to as if you owned the property.

A property purchase is considered one of the strongest investments a person can make, projections are that these lake and lakefront properties are at a premium and values will continue to rise as lakefront opportunities become more scarce.
